• Date attributed on some stylistic grounds. However, Citadel Hill does not show any fortifications (first established 17549) although batteries are shown on George Island (Fort Charlotte was built 1750).

• No units are given for the scale at lower right - is shows only "ECHELLE DE 2853". Previous British Library cataloguing assumed "1853 pas geometriques". 2853 toises seems more likely (scale approximately 1:55,000)?

• Names "Portsmouths" instead of Dartmouth.
