Previous British Library cataloguing has dated the map 1755, with reference to the depiction of Baron Dieskau's position in 1755 on the map. However, the depiction and naming of forts (including two at Crown Point) and the reference to Captain Robert Rogers' raid suggests a later date - but before 1759.
